I haven't had a morning like this in a long time.
Drinking tea, reading, looking out the window at a rainy, green day, eating blueberry bread with butter and honey....but the truth is, the only reason I'm doing any of these things instead of scrambling around retrieving kids from classrooms to do therapy with is because I'm sick. A shame. I should really spend more mornings like this. Its even better than sleeping in. Its lounging in....its relishing in....its languishing in.... I love it. (despite the fact that I can't breathe through my nose and my body hurts.)
Btw: my email posts never work anymore. So, if this one does, let's all raise our hands in joyous praise of buzznet! Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

an ex of mine said at some point that sick days were something the company owed us, and so she occasionally just took a mental health day (what she told me, not her employer) and stayed home. one of the many good things I took away from our relationship
And why does every woman I know have an Aunt Florence????
